On the 4th of July many were celebrating Independence Day; a woman from Sioux Falls, South Dakota was not. Instead of celebrating Independence Day, Annie D. Lund, the woman in question, tried to rob the Black Diamond Casino located on 41st Street.
According to the police, Annie D. Lund walked into the casino at about 10AM on Sunday, the 4th of July. She pulled out a gun and demanded the staff give her money. Unfortunately for the woman, an employee wrestled the gun out of her hands. Annie D. Lund then tried to make a run for it; another employee chased her outside the casino, where the South Dakota Highway Patrol officers arrested her.
Annie D. Lund is now in custody and faces first degree armed robbery charges.
