Industry executive Rich Roberts has recently been appointed as Slingo’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), replacing Sal Falciglia Sr, the digital entertainment company’s owner and founder. The announcement was made earlier this week by Slingo at the Casual Connect show in Seattle.
“After 16 years as the CEO of Slingo, Inc., I am happy to pass the torch to Rich [Roberts] and I am excited to have someone with his experience and talents to lead the company in its next stage of growth,” commented Sal Falciglia Sr who will stay involved in Slingo’s casino-related operations, even if he is no longer the company’s CEO.

His knowledge and expertise in high-quality digital branded entertainment will allow him to create and execute a strategic vision that supports all of our platforms and cross-media endeavors,” commented Eric Lamendola, general manager of Slingo, Inc

Rich Roberts brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the distribution and development of quality branded entertainment. Before joining the Slingo Team, Rich Roberts’ used to work with PlayFirst, where he occupied the position of Vice President of Business Development and Sales. During his time at PlayFirst, Rich Roberts turned the company into a monetization powerhouse and did so through branded entertainment and distribution.
Rich Roberts graduated Stonehill College; he has a business administration degree.
