Baccarat history

Baccarat history begins over 2600 years ago, with the ancient Roman Etruscans in the Italian peninsula. The Etruscans believed in nine gods, housed in their Temple of Golden Hair and were required to offer a blond virgin to them, to appease them. A nine sided die was cast by her to determine her fate. A five or less meant she had to walk into the sea and drown. A six or seven meant she got to live and was excused from ever having to roll the die again. On and eight or nine she was promoted to priestess.

Baccarat’s history came closer to being fully realized when playing cards came back with the Crusaders in the 14th Century. The Church was of the opinion that cards were surely the work of the Devil, but Gutenberg, in the same year that he published the bible, printed playing cards, which became the first tarot deck, with each of the four suits representing a class of society.

Swords, which later became spades, represented nobility. King David was the first King of Spades. Coins represented the merchant class, and later became diamonds. The first King of Diamonds was Julius Caesar. Clubs, which later evolved into cloverleaves, but were still called clubs, represented the serfs. The first King of Clubs was Alexander the Great.

Finally, Cups (representing the Holy Grail, and by proxy, the Church) evolved into hearts. The first King of Hearts was Charlemagne.
In the 1600’s, Felix Falguiere revived the Etruscan ritual to create a similar game for wagering using tarot cards. He named his game baccarat, from “baccara”, a Venetian slang term for “zero” and hence the history of baccarat was born.

Alternative theories maintain that baccarat history is descended from Chinese Pai Gow, and came to Italy from Marco Polo’s expeditions. Pai Gow literally means “to make nine” and also has the shifting banker rules.

Baccarat becomes the game of the French Nobility
Once spreading to France, during the reign of Charles VIII, baccarat history evolved as noblemen took up the game in wild enthusiasm, calling the game first baccarat en Banque and later Chemin De Fer, French for “railroad.” Players took turns playing the role of banker and passed the role to each other. The game required four people to administer the game.

The game was at first, illegal. Nobles played the game in secret until legislation taxed the game to give proceeds to the poor. This made the game conscientious and caused it to become extremely popular. Gambling was no longer a decadent exercise, it was philanthropy.

Things began to change under Napoleon. While Napoleon did not make the game illegal, he frowned upon it and the game lost its popularity. By the time Louis-Phillipe came to power, it was banned, and it remained banned until 1907. During these dark days, the game returned to the underground, and in the absence of nobles to play it (the French Revolution did away with nobles) players were often at the mercy of unscrupulous gangsters that often ran crooked games.

When it became legal again in France, it quickly rebounded. Casinos were built all over the country in Biarritz, Deauville, Nice, Cannes, and Monaco.

Baccarat in the UK
Meanwhile, the game was spreading. Baccarat history runs deep in Victorian England during the time that it was illegal in France. British aristocracy took to it like moths to fire. Crockford’s club in London and the games hosted by John Aspinall were high intrigue for Queen Victoria’s court.

Of course, scandal rocked the court in 1890, when the playing partner of the Queen’s very own son, the Prince of Wales was caught in baccarat troubles. Sir William Gordon-Cumming, whilst playing at the home of a respected millionaire was accused of manipulating a game in the favor of his playing syndicate, which included the Prince of Wales. Sir Gordon-Cumming was asked to sign an agreement to never play again and did so, without the Prince speaking on his behalf. This caused Sir Gordon-Cumming to be ejected from the royal circle, and prompted him to sue for defamation. Eventually he lost, but the entire affair greatly upset Queen Victoria and made the entire baccarat community in England awfully nervous.

The Greek Syndicate
Back in France, people were hard at work trying to master the game since it had been legalized. In the twenties, a team calling itself the Greek Syndicate, began to make baccarat history as one of the greatest gambling teams of all time. The syndicate was led by Nico Zographos, an engineer who had done a mathematical study of the game. He had two Greeks, and Armenian and a Frenchman under him and began to break casino banks all over France. They counted cards, read body language, and made over $5 million dollars.

Baccarat in the Americas
As baccarat history crept into the 20th century, several regional rules variations appeared: Chemin de Fer, Punto Banco and Banque were the most popular.

In Argentina, a variation called Punto y Banca evolved, which eventually migrated to Cuba. It was only after the Cuban Revolution, that Baccarat made its way to the Las Vegas Strip. Tommy Renzoni brought it to the Sands Casino and it began to rake in serious money. Renzoni was a modest casino employee and benefited in no way from the huge profits his ingenuity brought the Sands, and after the death of his beloved wife, he walked in to the middle of the street and killed himself.

Every effort was made to attract American players, by making it an exclusive setting, with roped off areas and requiring a dress code. But the 1950’s and 1960’s American gambling culture was far too casual, and preferred games like craps. Eventually, rules changes were made, and baccarat began to attract bigger crowds.

Bush signs Unlawful Internet Gambling Act

President Bush signed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act into law today. The measure, which was attached to a ports security bill, bans American banks and credit card companies from completing transactions with Internet gambling companies.

The Associated Press reports Bush focused on security issues at today’s signing ceremony and did not mention Internet gambling. In response to the bill’s passing, more than 250 sites – have already announced that they will stop accepting bets from U.S.-based players. And on Thursday, Sportingbet sold its U.S.-facing businesses to a company based in Antigua for $1 and the assumption of $13.2 million in debt.

Publicly-held casinos have the led the exodus out of the U.S. market. Industry giants PartyGaming – parent company of PartyPoker – and 888 announced last week that they would stop accepting American bets when Bush signed the law. PartyGaming’s stock has lost almost 75% of its value in the last two weeks. 888’s share price has plummeted by more than 50% over the same period. Both companies drew most of their revenue from the $6 billion U.S. market.

But American gamers will find that most privately-held casinos will still take their bets. Bodog, Golden Palace and VIP have announced their commitment to the U.S. market. And about 85% of the online casinos will continue to take American bets.

Congress Passes Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act

Congress dealt a massive blow to U.S. Internet gamblers over the weekend when it passed legislation forcing U.S. banks and credit card companies to block electronic transactions to Internet gambling businesses late Friday night.

Online gaming giants PartyPoker and 888 will suspend business with U.S.-based customers when President Bush signs the bill. And more sites are expected to follow suit. PartyPoker, which earned $859.1 million in 2005, says they will change their focus to the non-U.S. market.

“In the first half of 2006 our non-US business generated revenues of $150 million, a 151% increase over the comparable period in the previous year,” said PartyPoker CEO Mitch Garber.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) attached the measure to the Safe Port Act Conference Report. The bill also prohibits the use of checks to fund Internet gambling accounts. Frist had been trying for over a week to attach the measure to a Department of Defense budget appropriations bill.

The bill passed 409-2 in the House of Representatives and on a voice vote in the Senate.

“Gambling is a serious addiction that undermines the family, dashes dreams, and frays the fabric of society,” said Frist in a statement after the bill passed in the Senate. “Congress has grappled with this issue for 10 years, and during that time we’ve watched this shadow industry explode. For me as majority leader, the bottom line is simple: Internet gambling is illegal. Although we can’t monitor every online gambler or regulate offshore gambling, we can police the financial institutions that disregard our laws.”

Bush has until Tuesday, Oct. 10 to sign the bill into law, and is widely expected to do so. Federal regulators and the banking industry will then have up to 270 days to formulate the necessary policies to identify and block transactions to Internet gambling sites.

Also included in the bill is language that indicates that Internet service providers could be required to block access and remove links to Internet gambling Web sites.

“It’s just too easy to access Internet gambling sites,” said Michele Combs, Director of Communications for the Christian Coalition, which lobbied for the measure’s passage. “We think this is the first step toward a larger bill that will come soon (completely banning Internet gambling).”

The gaming industry says the measure will force a thriving industry underground and hurt problem gamblers.

“We don’t think poker is a ’shadowy enterprise,’ whether it’s played at your home or the Internet,” said Michael Bolcerek, president of the Poker Players Alliance.

Bolcerek believes that the elimination of corporate gaming entities from the U.S. market such as PartyPoker actually makes the situation more dangerous.

“The largest sites, such as Party and 888 and others, offer support for problem gamblers and are diligent about keeping children off (Internet gambling sites)”.

Rules of Sic Bo in Online Casinos

About Sic Bo
Sic Bo comes from ancient China. It is a betting game akin to roulette that is played with three dice. It can be played alone or with other players.

The Sic Bo table looks very complicated because it is divided into many sections each having explanations and depicting dice combinations. The game itself is nothing more than guessing game conditions after rolling out the dice. There are no game choices or decisions for the player to make after the bets have been made.

Just like roulette, Sic Bo offers a lot of bets on number of conditions. The bets are not composite, e.g. you can not place one bet in more than one betting pocket. The betting table is not simple and requires additional clarification so that you can easily read it during the game.

Betting in Sic Bo
On the top of the table you can see two squares: “Small bets” is traditionally placed to the left and “Big bets” is to the right. The payoff ratio for them is always 1 to 1.

Small bet wins when the total sum of the three dice is 4 to 10
Big bet wins if sum of the three dice is 11 to 18

Neither small nor big bet wins if the three dice roll out the same value (”three of a kind”)
The bottom row of the table represents the “Number bets”. You can bet on either one of six numbers. The payoff depends on how many times the number appears on the dice after the rollout: 1 to 1 if once, 2 to 1 if twice, 3 to 1 if three times.

The row above the number bets is called “Pair bets”. You can bet on any of the possible 15 combinations of two dice. If a given combination occurs your bet pays 5 to 1. Above the pair bets you can see a large row that doesn’t have pictures of dice that’s called “Total bets”. With total bets, you wager on the total sum of all three dice. Three dice can summarily roll out a sum of 3 to 18; however 3 and 18 are considered losing bets and are excluded. This way you can only bet on sums from 4 to 17. Payoffs for the total bets are as follows:

  • Total of 4 60 to 1
  • Total of 5 - 30 to 1
  • Total of 6 - 17 to 1
  • Total of 7 - 12 to 1
  • Total of 8 - 8 to 1
  • Total of 9 - 6 to 1
  • Total of 10 - 6 to 1
  • Total of 11 - 6 to 1
  • Total of 12 - 6 to 1
  • Total of 13 - 8 to 1
  • Total of 14 - 12 to 1
  • Total of 15 - 17 to 1
  • Total of 16 - 30 to 1
  • Total of 17 - 60 to 1

The topmost row that lays between the big bets and small bets squares consists of three betting areas:
The leftmost and rightmost areas are actually an area called “Double bets” that’s split in two. You win 10 to 1 if the number you bet on appears at least twice
The central area in the topmost row is called “Triple bets”. You bet on a specific triple to appear and win 180 to 1 if it does!
Inside the triple bets area there is the “Three of a kind” bet. You win 30 to 1 if any triple appears.
Don’t try to memorize the payoffs for Sic Bo as there’s really no need: the game table has all the odds written on it.

Online bingo games

Online bingo games are really exciting but the entertainment value it offers is not the only attraction. Online bingo players are winning huge progressive jackpots at some of the most popular cyber bingo halls.

With so much money at stake it is no wonder online bingo games have become so popular in recent years. New and experienced bingo players are attracted to online bingo sites by the huge progressive jackpots on offer.

Let’s take at look what you can win by playing cyber bingo. We’ll also consider how much it costs to play bingo online.

What you can win:
There are usually at least two ways to win a bingo game. When you play an online bingo game you stand a chance of winning the bingo prize pool and/or the bingo jackpot.

Every time a player buys a bingo card a percentage of the purchase is placed into the total prize pool. That means that every player is contributing to the size of the prize fund. The prize pool grows as more and more bingo cards are bought.

To win the bingo prize pool you need to be the first player to complete your card. Prize pools are dependent on the number of active players in the bingo hall and the cost of the bingo tickets. More players usually mean larger prize pools.

The bingo jackpot is usually a progressive jackpot and a very small percentage of cost of every ticket is added to the total jackpot fund. To win these huge progressive bingo jackpots you’ll need to complete your bingo card within a certain number of balls.Progressive bingo jackpots can be as big as $2000 or more.

What it costs:
For many new bingo players one of the first questions asked is, “how much does it cost?”. Well the beauty of the game is that it is really simple to learn and really cheap play but you stand a chance of winning big prizes.
The price of a single online bingo card may online be about 10c! And with a single ticket you could easily win a huge progressive jackpot.

Blackjack Card Counting

By using blackjack card counting, you can increase your odds of winning the hands that you play. Do keep in mind though, that there’s no substitute for playing smart with your money. Relying on any strategy other than bankroll management can be a disaster waiting to happen. Take it from old George. I know what I’m talking about.

So! A strategy that is very widely used among gamblers is blackjack card counting. Throughout the years, much has been said about the art of counting; some say it doesn’t work, some swear by it. What do I think? Well, I can tell you that it certainly does work, but whether or not you choose to try it is up to you. Throughout the history of this game (and it’s a long one!), blackjack card counting has proven to be the only real strategy that will really increase your odds of winning.

The main objective of blackjack card counting is to get a basic idea of how many high cards are left in the deck. Knowing this, you can make decisions based whether a certain card is or isn’t present in the deck. Let’s say one deck is being used in the game you’re playing and you’ve already counted four aces, meaning that there are none left in the deck. You’ll know that whatever the case may be, the dealer will not hit blackjack until after all the cards are returned to the deck. blackjack card counting quite simply gives you an idea of what to expect and where you stand in the game.

However, blackjack card counting is not an easy task; it requires a lot of concentration and a memory like a steel trap, as they say. It’s also a strategy that has the potential to tire you out quickly. Of course, the more decks that are being used to play the game, the harder blackjack card counting becomes. Below, I’ve provided for you two lists of what to consider when using this strategy. You need to keep track of slightly different things depending on whether you’re playing a face-up or a face-down game. As you can see, there’s lots of information to pack into your brain, so you have to be focused.

When playing face-down games, keep track of:

  • The dealer’s up card.
  • Your hole cards.
  • Any hit cards and busted cards.
  • The dealer’s hole card.
  • The dealer’s hit cards, if any.
  • Other players’ hole cards and double down cards.

When playing face-up games, keep track of:

  • Other players’ hole cards.
  • The dealer’s up card.
  • Any hit cards and busted cards.
  • The dealer’s hole card.
  • The dealer’s hit cards, if any.
  • Any double down cards.

There you have it! I think that’s about enough information for you. Any more, and there wouldn’t be any room to keep track of the cards, should you decide to try it. Remember though; blackjack card counting is not a sure thing. Though it will mathematically work, you’re only going to be able to attempt it in a 1 or 2 deck game. Money management is the best way to come out on top at the casino, but you can be the judge. Good luck!

Craps dice

Dice have been around in one form or another, almost as long as there have been people to make use of them. There is evidence of dice games being played by the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt, and they were most likely around long before that. Originally, dice weren’t even cubes. The craps dice of today have gone through many changes to reach the state you’re familiar with.

The dice we know as craps dice are most closely related to knucklebones; specifically, those of a sheep. That’s because they are roughly square already. No one had to carve those little cubes out of wood or anything; they were basically ready to use. That’s why you sometimes still hear craps dice being referred to as “bones”, or hear the phrase “shake them bones”. But even before that, dice took on many shapes and sizes.

In ancient times, before cube-shaped dice became common, people would use things such as fruit stones (like peach pits), flat sticks with various types of marks carved into them, sea shells, nut shells and small stones for dice-type games. Some people think that ideas for the games came from watching witch doctors and shaman who would throw “dice” to find out about the future. At that time, the throwing of the dice was a much more serious business; the outcome believed to be controlled by the gods. Dice were used to choose kings, to predict the future, and to decide guilt or innocence. As a matter of fact, standard craps dice are still used in fortune telling today.

I’ve read that gambling, and dice-playing were favorite ways for the Romans to pass the time. There are even accounts of the young people being scolded for wasting too much time playing with dice, and not enough time on their chores. Well, some things never change! In fact, the earliest dice that resemble the craps dice of today were found near Rome, and were made around 900 B.C. They are the oldest known dice to have the opposite faces adding up to 7 (1+6, 2+5, 3+4) as we know them today. There were professional gamblers in ancient Rome too, and they even used loaded dice. Some of these early craps dice have been preserved in museums. By the way, the term “loaded dice” refers to dice that have been “fixed” in some way, in order to make certain outcomes more likely, taking away the element of chance or randomness.

So there you have it. Now you’re well on your way.

Why play blackjack?

Of all the casino games, why bet on blackjack? What makes it “different” than any other casino-banked game?

It’s clear that casino games are supposed to make money for their owners. In order to ensure this happens, casinos offer games of chance that are based on what mathematicians call “independent trial processes”. What this means is that the odds for any bet remain constant no matter what has occurred in previous spins of the wheel or rolls of the dice.

Take the example of roulette. The odds against any number winning are 37 to 1. Suppose number 7 wins. On the next spin of the wheel, the odds of number 7 winning are still 37 to 1. In fact even if number 7 were to win 2, 3 or even 4 times in a row, the odds it will win on the next spin are the same - 37 to 1. The reason? The roulette ball has no memory. It doesn’t know or even care that number 7 just won. Each spin is an “independent event” and no number is ever “due to win”. The number 7 has the same chance of winning on each spin regardless of what happened on previous spins.

With this information about roulette, the inventors of the game knew how to get the edge against all bettors. It’s really quite simple. You just pay off winning bets at odds that are slightly less than the constant odds that players face when they bet on any number. The odds against number 7 winning - or for that matter any roulette number - is a constant 37 to 1. If you win, the casino pays you at 35 to 1 odds (you win $35 for every dollar bet). The difference between the constant odds of winning a bet (37 to 1) and the casino payoff odds (35 to 1) is what creates the casinos edge. In the case of roulette the casino stands to win 2 chips out of every 38 chips wagered by a player or a mathematical advantage of 5.26%.

One characteristic of all “independent trial processes” casino games is that mathematically, with an honest game, there are no playing and wagering systems that can overcome the casino’s edge in these games. A player always has a negative expectation, which means over the long term a player will lose more money than win.

When blackjack was first invented, it wasn’t so easy to figure out how to put the edge in the casino’s favor. There were no computers to analyze the exact percentages on every hand. By trial and error a set of playing rules were developed which combined with the players playing skills (or lack of) resulted over time in the game winning money for the casino. But then came the computer-derived playing strategies that were far more accurate than a player’s “intuition”. By using these accurate playing strategies, a smart blackjack player can reduce the casino’s edge to around half a percent. That means a player stands to lose only 50 cents out of every hundred dollars bet at blackjack. I don’t think the casinos ever intended it to be that close.

The big difference between blackjack and the other casino games is that blackjack is based on “dependent trial processes”. This means that are the odds are not constant from one hand to the next. They change depending upon what cards were played on previous hands. If you were playing in a single deck game and four aces were played, what is the chance of getting a blackjack on the next hand? It would be zero because there are no more aces left in the undealt cards. On the other hand if you saw no aces being played in the first few hands, the probability of getting a blackjack would increase (since all four aces remain in the undealt cards). The point is that unlike the roulette ball or dice, the cards do have a memory and the odds are not constant from one hand to the next.

Another factor that separates blackjack from other casino games is that players must make a playing decision after they make their bet. This decision will either increase or decrease their chance of winning the hand. Therefore, the level of playing skills for a blackjack player very much influences his chance of winning.

So why play blackjack? Because blackjack is beatable for the above reasons and it gives skillful player’s the best shot at winning.

Russia casinos face exile from cities

The gaudy, glittering complex of the Shangri La casino, less than a mile from the Kremlin, boasts on three distinctively themed gaming floors about 40 playing tables, nearly 200 slot machines and an invitation-only restaurant called Exotika with three international chefs.

“Closest to Vegas, without leaving Moscow,” promises the casino, which has a kaleidoscopic lotus flower towering above the sidewalk out front. It’s a rather good slogan - but perhaps only for now.

The federal government is considering sweeping legislation, proposed by President Vladimir V. Putin, that would force casinos such as this one - garish flower and all - out of Moscow and other Russian cities and into one of four special, more tightly restricted gambling zones. Two likely would be in less-populated areas of European Russia, though it is unclear precisely where. There also would be one each in Siberia and the Far East; imagine a miniature Las Vegas, albeit in the frozen steppe.

The way the bill is written, relocation to these zones - nothing short of a vast undertaking requiring an equally vast investment in a nation where decent roads and airports are in short supply - would not take place until 2009. Other changes would push smaller casinos and slot halls out of business altogether, and soon: Those that don’t have at least 10 tables, 50 slots and net assets of $23 million would have to darken their neon lights by July. The bill, in some form, is all but certain to pass, and not only because Putin proposed it. Many here see gambling as he does: an illness like alcoholism, which is what he compared it to in recent publicized remarks (other politicians have referred to gambling, variously, as a crime, a sin, an evil and a plague).

But a slew of amendments that would make the bill more lenient have been rolling off the lips of gaming lobbyists, who call the current version, among other things, unrealistic and unconstitutional. Losing money - just like making it - is, after all, a capitalist right. “It’s way too revolutionary,” Samoil Binder of the Russian Association for Gaming Business Development said last week after meeting with industry representatives at a gathering in Moscow that was compared by participants, on more than one occasion, to a funeral.

It’s not the spirit of the bill - tighter regulation of an industry that, by nearly all accounts, has been allowed to spiral out of control - that Binder objects to, he says. It’s basically everything else. “The whole gambling industry is going to collapse,” he said, pointing to a potential loss of jobs and what he called an overly ambitious timetable for raising entire casino complexes from nothing. Gambling has proliferated in Russia in recent years, particularly in the capital, home to the vast majority of the country’s wealth. Its growth has occurred as part of a self-perpetuating cycle: People made, spent - and, apparently, were willing to lose - more money, so ever more gambling houses continued to open. A change in licensing regulations only helped, making licenses available for a nominal fee.

Gambling, which was banned during Soviet times, has long been a part of Russian life. Peter the Great liked a good game of cards but had an unwritten rule that kept players’ losses to a single ruble. Pushkin and Dostoyevsky, both notorious gamblers, wrote of the vice. Pushkin’s famous short story “The Queen of Spades” describes a man’s quest to pry out of an elderly countess a foolproof secret of winning at cards. He ends up ruined, in a mental hospital, babbling about a three, a seven and an ace. The last attempt here to legislate morality provides a less-than-successful model. Mikhail S. Gorbachev’s draconian anti-drinking campaign, launched in 1985, decreased alcohol consumption, but at a price: It devastated the nation’s economy and led to the creation of an underground criminal market.

Critics of the gambling bill predict that outlawing gambling in all but four zones will have similar results. “It will open the doors to illegal casinos all over,” said Michael Boettcher, a former blackjack dealer who is now chief executive officer of Storm International, which employs 6,000 people at seven casinos in Russia, including Shangri La. Of Putin’s proposed legislation, he said: “It’s like taking a sledgehammer to a nut.” Regions from the balmy Russian south, on the Black Sea, to Kamchatka in the Far East already have expressed a desire to be counted in. Seemingly overlooking Putin’s point, Yevgeny Gerasimov, chairman of the Moscow City Duma’s culture committee, has proposed that the capital itself be named a zone.

He suggests that casinos here - of which there are about 60, including another Storm-owned casino called New York, where the carpet depicts skyscrapers and the birthdays of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe are cause for celebration - relocate to a self-contained area on the city’s southeast side. Nagatinskaya Poima, on the Moscow River, is far from the center, which he says will deter the most vulnerable, such as youths and pensioners, from visiting in an attempt to “awaken the volcano of luck.” But the area hardly seems like Vegas material: It’s industrial, polluted and unscenic as can be.

“If the rich have a need - a weakness - to play roulette, then let them gamble here, and not in other places, not abroad,” said Gerasimov, using a common argument that envisions so-called New Russians taking their high-roller bets to Monaco or elsewhere. “The taxes could be used for social programs in the city.” Last Friday, Putin urged Duma members from the ruling United Russia party not to soften the bill and to pass it unchanged by the end of the year. Anatoly Aksakov, one of the party’s deputies, author of an amendment limiting the legal rights of reckless gamblers, will support it.He admits, though, that he’ll miss the bright lights of the city’s casinos, which starkly contrast with the drab, colorless storefronts of Soviet times.

Aksakov was awed by Las Vegas on a business trip and lured to the gaming tables at Caesars Palace, where he “broke the bank” playing roulette. Actually, that’s not exactly what happened. “I won in roulette,” he said, “but then I played and lost money on the slots.”

Popular online gambling site joins US player ban

Aces.com has announced that as of November 21, they will no longer acccept bets from U.S. players.

US players needn’t despair, however - Aces.com has made an arrangement with the now privately owned and well established Sportsbook.com to look after the online gambling needs of American players, and all accounts are being transferred across. As the announcement claims: “Everything’s been set up… and everything’s the same.”

US players will retain their account, password, PIN and user name and all balances will be seamlessly transferred to Sportsbook.com. Even the 24/7 Support contacts details remain unchanged. Players will find that the new site has a very similar layout and navigation once logged in.

Sportsbook.com management have impressive credentials, and boast that it is the only management team to ever win eGaming Review’s “Best US Sports Book” award twice.

The casino, poker and sports betting facilities will be offering players “…a bigger range of bonuses more frequently, cooler gifts, better events, more props, higher limits, lines up sooner. We’re rolling out $100,000 contests like the free Perfect Parlay, the Black Friday Poker Free Roll, the Caribbean Stud Progressive and the Sports Trivia Challenge. And we’ve got $10,000,000 prizes for the Perfect Play-off Parlay coming in January and the Perfect Bracket in March.”
